Submission Wrestling, also known as “No-Gi”, is a term that implies the practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu without the use of the traditional Gi (Uniform). The goal is still the same, to efficiently use your techniques to control and submit your opponent. The term Submission Wrestling is used because the sport uses many of the fundamentals of collegiate style wrestling with the addition of submission holds and differing sets of rules.
